Global Project Management

Helping You Compete Globally

In a world where distance matters less and boundaries between industries, organizations, individuals, and nations are dissolving, corporations must think, act, and compete globally to succeed.

Keane has partnered with Boston University’s Institute for Global Work (IGW) and other global corporations to explore the latest research on managing global work and collaboration. Findings from this research have allowed Keane and IGW to assemble curriculum and service offerings specifically targeted to understanding and implementing the best practices for global project management.

Keane’s three-day “Principles for Project Success” workshop examines the concepts needed to successfully manage global projects. The challenges of managing projects cross-culturally in virtual and distributed team environments and the techniques needed to succeed are discussed along with other fundamentals for managing global projects.

What You’ll Learn

This workshop places a strong emphasis on understanding the business need, building a team, and executing with “de facto authority” over assigned resources. Teamwork, strengthened by individual and organizational accountability, is also a central theme in the training. Case studies of actual project experiences bring reality to the training; they also encourage analysis of the critical factors that cause projects to succeed or fail.
