Ian Miller
Executive Vice President, Europe and Middle East

Ian Miller is Executive Vice President responsible for Keane’s business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Miller will focus on driving client satisfaction and business growth by ensuring strong partnerships that optimize our client’s IT investments.
Previously, Mr. Miller was director Application Services at HP where he refined and re-focused the EMEA services portfolio to concentrate on best economic solutions, and developed clear value propositions for each and trained sales teams. Under his leadership the business met its growth objectives and improved margins by over 40% in less than a year.
When HP acquired EDS, he became vice president and general manager, Global Energy Industries for EDS. In this role, he was responsible for successfully revamping the operating strategy and leadership team, and following several years of stagnation, rebuilt the pipeline of major deals.
Mr. Miller held several leadership roles at EDS earlier in his career as well. He served as president, Energy Industries Group, and member of the Management Board, and managing director of Energy Industries, EMEA. He drove rapid growth at the company, turning around an SBU with static revenue and low profitability by increasing revenue by 300% and transforming profitability over a period of less than four years.
In between these roles with EDS/HP, Mr. Miller was chief executive officer of Parity Group, PLC, where he oversaw the company’s operations in Europe and the U.S. including a staff of 6,000 people. He successfully orchestrated a turnaround in the company’s business in Europe and the U.S., returning it to profitability and growth and recapitalizing it through an over-subscribed rights issue. He also served as an advisor to two UK Government departments on the management of relationships with outsourcing suppliers.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Miller was global practice head at PA Consulting Group, where he developed one of the most profitable practices in the company by focusing on high-margin service offerings in strategy and organization for major global clients.
In addition, Mr. Miller is a nonexecutive Chairman of KBC Advanced Technologies PLC, a UK-quoted company specializing in refinery process optimization. He is also Special Commandant of the City of London Police, and manages it’s Reserve Force. He was recently awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to policing in Scotland and the City of London.
